Working from home might not be so easy:
Free twinkies have been bringing people out to the suburbs. Baby's Cheesesteak and Lemonade in Orland Park and Country Club Hills are giving away ten-thousand Twinkies and a few thousand cupcakes for free. They're giving away the treats as a way to remember Hostess, which announced last month it was shutting down operations for good. Some customers say they drove two-hours yesterday just to pick up a few Twinkies for themselves.
Cell phone use is contagious:
In Liar, Liar, Roosevelt Gonzalez of Chicago was able to see through our lies to win a DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack of ParaNorman!
Lots of people name their cars:
People in Illinois don't believe President Obama should pardon former governors George Ryan or Rod Blagojevich. A new Public Policy Poll shows 70-percent of people say Ryan should serve out his full sentence while 75-percent believe the same for Blagojevich. Ryan has qualified for work release and will finish the last five months of sentence in a Chicago half-way house. Blagojevich just started serving a 14-year sentence.
People have no patience for elevators:
Tomorrow, we'll wrap up the work week, and let you decide the game you want to play at 7:05. We'll let you choose from three different games, and we'll have a a DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack of ParaNorman for our winner! Also, you might want to pare down the list of people you give gifts to during the holidays, and the most searched words of the year.
