We made it through 12/12/12 without any crazy things happening. Lots of people played 1-2-1-2 in the pick four lottery, and, unsurprisingly, nobody won.

In The List, we asked for the top three things you want this Christmas. Anna's top three are: a cat, a $10,000 shopping spree, and more hours in the day. Josh's top three are a bit more rational: The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-Ray, an iPod, and clothing. Some of the things people had on their list were to see family members, a big lottery win, a Mercedes Benz, more money at work, The Hunger Games book, and a restored classic Volvo.

We played Liar, Liar this morning, and Tiffany Patafotopoulos of Homer Glen correctly determined whose pants were on fire three out of four times to win a pair of tickets to see Kenny G's Holiday Show at The Venue at the Horseshoe Casino on the 20^th!

Congratulation to Romeoville High School’s chess team! They won the 2012 Southwest Prairie Conference championship at Oswego High School. Brandon Kavaliunas, Kevin Lam, Quang Dang and Lionel Davis all took first place on their boards, while Caelan Doran and Neil Pimentel took second place. Ann Natale took third place. In the open section, Holly Smith took second and Kyle Listermann took home third.
