If you missed anything this morning, here's what we talked about:
Most people would have a hard time giving up beef to become vegan:
Meijer says it will hire about eleven-hundred workers in Illinois for the upcoming holiday shopping season. Many positions will turn out to be full-time and not just seasonal. The company opened two locations in Illinois this year, including a 90-thousand-square-foot facility in Berwyn. Two more Chicago-area locations are set to open next year.
In our Song Scramble, Dawn Evans of Joliet knew it was Wang Chung's “Everybody Have Fun Tonight!” She picked up 5 espresso drinks from Brewed Awakenings in Morris!
We both questioned this study's validity, but apparently, having your husband do chores could hurt your marriage:
The Cubs plan to move the brick wall behind home plate at Wrigley Field out three feet to add 56 prime box seats next season. The team needs approval from the Chicago Landmarks Commission, which currently is reviewing the plans. The prime club box seats could cost $200 or more, depending on the game.
Tomorrow, we'll ask that you brag about your achievements and talents, both special and...not-so special. One person will get 5 espresso drinks from Brewed Awakenings in Morris! We'll also talk about something new the Weather Channel is doing this upcoming winter, and when it comes to your man, do you prefer a lover or a fighter? Join us tomorrow!
