  • Jon Hamm Warns He May Sound Different in "Minions"

Universal(NEW YORK) -- Jon Hamm voices evil inventor Herb Overkill in his latest film, Minions. But Mad Men fans may not recognize his voice in the animated movie.

"That was three of four years ago, that was when I had a polyp on my vocal cords," he said on Tuesday's Live with Kelly and Michael. "It was very scratchy and different, which actually worked."

Hamm's onscreen wife is voiced by Sandra Bullock, who portrays villain Scarlet Overkill. The two recorded their parts separately, as is customary in many animated films.

"We were married on the movie and we never worked together. We never saw each other," Hamm said, laughing. "It was a very typical marriage. We just literally never saw one another at all."

Minions is a spin-off of the Despicable Me franchise, which features the Minions. The film follows the tiny yellow fan-favorite creatures as they travel through time, killing the baddest villains in history, including T. Rex, Napoleon and Dracula.

Minions took years to create. "It takes a very long time to make an animated film. In fact it took like I think the better part of four years to make Minions because there's so many things that have to [be done,] Hamm explained. "You know, there's computer animations, and those take a long time, and all the voice acting and the script, and everything has to come together."

Minions, also starring Michael Keaton, Allison Janney and Steve Carell, is out July 10.

  • "The Bachelorette" Recap: Kaitlyn Keeps Nick Encounter a Secret as Her Irish Adventures Continue

ABC/Rick Rowell(NEW YORK) -- Kaitlyn Bristowe had a lot on her mind throughout Monday night's episode of The Bachelorette -- specifically, her very romantic date with Nick Viall in Dublin.

Kaitlyn was worried that the other men would discover that she slept with Nick in her hotel suite. WhenShawn B. visited her at the end of last week's episode, she thought she might have to address the Nick situation with him. But as we found out Monday night, Shawn just wanted to talk about where he stands with her. He asked her if she loves him; she replied, "I'm falling in love with you."

Even so, Shawn harbored feelings of jealousy, but more on that later.

Kaitlyn turned her attention to a two-on-one date with JJ and Joe. The trio took a boat ride to an island off the coast of Ireland. During alone time with Kaitlyn, JJ confessed that three years ago he cheated on his then-wife, which he said "destroyed" his life.

Kaitlyn appreciated JJ's honesty, but she ultimately decided to cut him loose, telling him it would be unfair of her to keep him away from his daughter if she didn't see a future with him. However, she cautioned Joe that she needs to spend more time with him before she can evaluate their romance.

Meanwhile, Shawn continued to struggle with his relationship with Kaitlyn, telling the cameras he felt emotionally and mentally spent. He claimed that Kaitlyn previously told him off-camera that he's the one for her. He again visited her at her suite, and admitted it was hard for him to watch her carry on romances with the other bachelors.

Prior to a rose ceremony at an Irish castle, Kaitlyn vaguely alluded to mistakes she'd made, confusing the men. She asked Nick to not discuss their private moment with the others, and then had yet another chat with Shawn in which she said they should "take a step back."

At the rose ceremony, Kaitlyn eliminated two bachelors: Tanner and Ben Z.

Afterward, Kaitlyn and Jared traveled to the famous Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone, while the other five men took a bus ride to Killarney.

Kaitlyn got settled in at the Ballyseede Castle in Kerry, where she was staying, when host Chris Harrison stopped by. He informed her of a new wrinkle in the show's format: she'll have to narrow the field down to three men, then have overnight dates in Ireland before selecting the final two for hometown visits.

With the stakes raised, Kaitlyn had a one-on-one date with Chris “Cupcake." They enjoyed a helicopter ride, landing near the Cliffs of Moher, where they set up a picnic. There was no rose on the line, but it was still the end of the line for Chris.

Kaitlyn broke down in tears, telling Chris, "I just don’t know if I see us being together forever and I don't want to lead anyone on." She walked away from him and they both sobbed, ending the episode on a sad note.

The Bachelorette continues next Monday on ABC with Kaitlyn coming clean to the men about her night with Nick.

  • Stars Swarm World Premiere of "Ant-Man"

Buena Vista(LOS ANGELES) -- Ant-Man cast members Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, and Michael Pena were among the celebrities who swarmed the red carpet in Los Angeles Monday night for the world premiere of Marvel's latest superhero hit.

Other Marvel series stars who showed their support for the size-shifting hero included Guardians of the Galaxy writer-director James Gunn, his GOTG co-star Michael Rooker, as well as Ant-Man co-creator -- and, naturally, Ant-Man cameo player Stan Lee -- and J. August Richards and Brett Dalton from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In Ant-Man, Rudd plays Scott Lang, a thief who unwittingly steals a suit that gives him the power to shrink down to the size of the titular insect. The technology was developed by Douglas' character, the brilliant scientist Hank Pym, who, decades earlier bore the Ant-Man mantle himself, becoming one of the founding member of The Avengers.

Pym taps Lang to become the hero in an effort to steal its stolen tech back from Stoll's Darren Cross, who builds a competing suit with eyes on creating an army of super-powered, size-shifting soldiers.

ABC Radio wondered what some of the movie's stars would do with that ability.

"I would go to the Oval Office," Lilly told us, "And I would...stay small...and I would...listen to the goings-on and find out...who's really pulling the strings in this country and what's going on."

Pena would choose a more direct path, telling us, "I'd probably kill every terrorist. I'd make 'em pay."

For his part, Douglas told Marvel.com he was, "grateful [to be] in the Marvel family," and called the movie, "a lovely experience...a learning experience," and "a gas, a gas and a half." He also said of the effects, "it's going to blow your mind...It's spectacular."

Ant-Man craws into theaters July 17 -- and be sure to stay past the end credits. While Age of Ultron didn't have a post-credits scene, this movie has one that is not to be missed.
