Big Names Come Together for the Chris Cornell Tribute Show

The big Chris Cornell tribute show took place at the L.A. Forum on Wednesday night.

Here’s some of what went down . . .

Audioslave, Soundgarden, and Temple of the Dog all got back together with guest stars.  The Foo Fighters and Metallica did mini-sets.

Other performers and guest stars included Miley Cyrus, Fiona Apple, Chris Stapleton, Peter Frampton, Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler . . .

Josh Homme, Ryan Adams, Ziggy Marley, Brandi Carlile, Taylor Momsen, Taylor Hawkins, and Adam Levine, who did a surprisingly good version of Cornell’s solo song “Seasons”.

Celebrities in attendance included Jack Black, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale, Tom Hanks, and Courtney Cox and Jimmy Kimmel hosted the show.  Proceeds went to charity.
