Breaking rules at the pump

Earlier this week, one lawmaker introduced the Gas Station Attendant Act, making it illegal to pump your own gas in Illinois.

WGN TV reports Oak Park’s State Rep. Camille Lilly now says it wasn’t to ban self-service, but to start a discussion on convenience and safety issues at the gas pump.

I’m happy to hear that they are re-examining the proposal – if it became a law, my wedding vows might become null and void.

Doesn’t every married woman have it written in their vows where the husband will “Love, Honor, Respect and make sure there is always a full tank of gas in your car, until death do us part?”
