There’s a pizza fight going on between two of the nation’s largest police forces.!
Chicago PD threw the first stone with a Tweet about National Pizza Day, which is coming up on Saturday. The force wrote that deep dish and “ol’ fashioned thin crust” both beat New York style slices.
The NYPD wasn’t going to let that comment slide. New York’s Finest responded with a dig at Chicago deep dish, making a comment that it’s more of a strange pasta than a pizza. Plenty of Chicagoans and New Yorkers joined the argument on social media, defending their region’s pizza.
