What are you celebrating today?

Saturday is National Love our Children Day; honoring all children and encourages us to develop loving, respectful relationships with our kids.

It is also National Student-Athlete Day; providing the opportunity to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of student-athletes.

Sunday is National Beer Day!  One of the world’s oldest prepared beverages as well as the third most popular drink overall.  It isn’t just one of those random “national days.” Oh no!  It has a historic element to it.  Beer possibly dates back to 9500 BC when cereal was first farmed.  It is recorded in the written history of ancient Iraq and ancient Egypt.

It is also National Do No Housework Day!  I didn’t make that one up either!  If you are looking for an excuse to get out of housework today…just blow it all off for the sake of celebrating.  You can thank me later.
