Counting Crows broke through big time with their 1993 debut album, “August and Everything After”.  The album didn’t have a title track, but got the name for the album from a song Adam Duritz was working on at the time.  He was never really satisfied with it, so it didn’t get recorded.  But he liked the title enough to use it for the album.

The Crows ended up playing the song twice during live shows, in 2003 and 2005.

But all these years later, “August and Everything After” finally has a release.  Adam finished writing it, and the band recorded an official version for Amazon Music.
