Hello Friends, Nick Jakusz here from the sister station, 95.9 The River. I want to invite you out to a special Joliet Slammers game on Friday, June 21st. My dad passed away three years ago, and he was a huge baseball fan. In his honor, we’ll be be enjoying baseball and beers on Friday, June 21st, with half of your ticket price going to support the fight against Type 1 diabetes, a disease my father had since he was 14. It’s very close to Father’s Day, so it will be a special time. Join us to celebrate my dad, and all dads, while raising money for the JDRF.
