FCC says “No” to RoboCall Man
A show of hands, how many people feel the government is always out to get us? All right…this week, they may have proved us wrong.
The Federal Communications Commission is stepping up the war on robocalls.
On Thursday, the ruled that phone companies may now block robocalls before they get to your home phone or mobile device. It appears that the “Do Not Call” website only covers “legit” robo calls…whatever that means. But it seems like there has been a surge lately in many of these Robo Calls to our cell phones.
I’m thinking they got involved because they saw how the scammers with the “You owe the IRS” calls were actually collecting more money then the traditional way we pay the Feds…but that just might be me.
