PEOPLE Magazine pictures it perfectly:

Jenna Bush Hager will take Kathie Lee Gifford‘s seat on the fourth hour of NBC’s Today Show.

Tuesday, the peacock network announced that Bush Hager will co-host the last hour with Hoda Kotb.

Gifford announced her plans to leave the show, back in April.

During the announcement on the show, the former First Daughter said, “It feels humbling and I can’t believe it.”  She also said she received a three-word message from her father, former president George W. Bush, which read, “Very proud dad.”  Jenna added, “Which, I’m like, what is there to be proud about?  I’m just drinking wine in the morning!”
