Millions of Americans are digging out after a powerful storm dumped several inches of snow and ice from the Midwest all the way to the Mid-Atlantic.  At least seven people have died due to the storm.  The National Weather Services expects about another inch of snow around Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia and drivers can expect extremely poor travel conditions, prompting schools to close for the day.  Portions of Illinois, Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri have all received more than a foot of snow.
