How are you spending your $ this this Memorial Day Weekend?

According to a new study, we will be spending more money on this Memorial Day weekend on gas, hotels, tourist attractions, amusement parks, groceries and alcohol at bars and clubs.

I know I spent plenty buying plants on Friday.  I’m pretty proud of how I strategically placed them in my car!

The Bank of America survey says we will spend an average of $48 on gas going out and about this weekend.  We will also spend an average of over $87 per person at grocery stores, which is more than an average Saturday.

AND we also feel the need to hit the clubs. The study reports that on Memorial Day weekend last year, we spent 83% more on drinks at bars and clubs.

I have a feeling we may continue to have plenty to drink about again this year…have you read the news lately?
