It has been from one swing to another in the weather department.  Don’t mess with Mother Nature, I guess.

Now that we finally have summer and may see temps in the 90’s all weekend, the Centers of Disease Control want you to keep a few things in mind.

Do not rely on a fan as your primary cooling device during an extreme heat event.

Drink more water than usual and don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink.

Don’t use the stove or oven to cook—it will make you and your house hotter.

And make sure you check in on your older neighbors to make sure they are okay.  Now that makes sense why the 2nd grader down the street continually asks me if I’m feeling okay…..
