The popular children’s song–and extremely annoying song, if you ask some–“Baby Shark” is being used in a most unusual way in Florida. Ask yourself: is it cruel, or understandable what they’re doing?

It’s being played on loop all night long to keep homeless people from laying around a waterfront pavilion in West Palm Beach.

They defend themselves by saying that the venue hosted 164 events over the past year, and city officials complain that staff and customers shouldn’t have to trip over people when they’re setting up.

The city is also alternating with another children’s hit “Raining Tacos.” Both songs will play on the Great Lawn as a “temporary measure.” TORTURE!!!
