When you think of dating apps, you might think of romance. But now, women are turning to the apps to find friendships.
Women who work remotely or have to travel a lot are turning to apps like GirlCrew and Bumble BFF to focus more on platonic relationships.
How well do these apps work? Well, Bumble BFF takes credit for forming an Atlanta-based group of women who love baseball and go to the games together. Others have met their new friends out for a night of dancing, or a glass of wine every two weeks or so.
