Luke Perry Was Laid to Rest in an Eco-Friendly “Mushroom Burial Suit”

Over the weekend, Luke Perry’s daughter Sophie said mushrooms hold an entirely new meaning for her . . . because her father was laid to rest in an environmentally-friendly “mushroom burial suit.”

In an Instagram post, she said, quote, “Any explanation I give will not do justice to the genius that is the mushroom burial suit . . . look into them at Coeio.com, or just by googling ‘mushroom burial suit.’

“My dad discovered it, and he was more excited by this than I have ever seen him.  He was buried in this suit . . . one of his final wishes.  They’re truly a beautiful thing for this beautiful planet.”

Coeio sells its “Infinity Burial Suit” for $1,500.  They say it’s a, quote, “breakthrough in eco-friendly, green funeral options . . . [and] returns [the] body to the earth without harming the environment.”  Last we checked, they were SOLD OUT.
