Millennials are always getting a bad rap, but not today! Hats off to millennial women: they’re showing up en masse in the current workforce, and even getting paid better--or at least slightly more fair–wages than the generation before.

That doesn’t mean it’s all puppies and rainbows, though. That balance isn’t reflected at home. “In 2017, the Bureau of Labor Statistic found that on an average day 19 percent of men performed household tasks like cleaning and laundry, compared to 49 percent of women,” Channel 7 Eyewitness News reported.

The study mentioned that one of the top ways to change this trend is on the men’s parts–without their participation, millennial women may find those long hours put in at work roll into more hours when they get home still.
