R. Kelly Will Be Held Without Bail, Because He’s Still Considered a Danger

R. Kelly was ordered to be held without bail yesterday, after prosecutors described him as, quote, “an extreme danger to the community, especially to minor girls.”

They also said he has, quote, “a unique ability to influence and intimidate witnesses and victims, and that continues to this day.”

Kelly’s attorney argued that he’s not a flight risk because, quote, “he has no money.”  He also claimed there’s, quote, “no evidence that he’s a risk to minors at all at this point.”
