RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE IS REUNITING!!

Rage Against the Machine is reuniting next year!!  They have a series of shows booked for next spring including a headlining gig at Coachella in April.

This would be their second Coachella reunion.  They originally split up in 2000, before reuniting at Coachella in 2007.  They toured in the following years, but then broke up again. They last played together back in 2011.

Not long after the news broke, Tom Morello’s current band Prophets of Rage called it quits.

B-Real said, quote, “It’s been an honor to rock stages and people of all ages with these guys.  It’s been a great time and great memories in a short time . . . It was fun while it lasted and I hope we left a big impression and that the music has been a source of inspiration for those that needed it.” 

That suggests the Rage thing might be long-term but the band hasn’t commented yet.
