Road crew misspells ‘school’ in school crossing

Dateline DORAL, Florida

One motorist deserves to be awarded the “Roads” Scholar after they reported that a local road sign was misspelled.  Workers in Doral had made a mistake when painting the word “school” at a pedestrian crossing in the road. Instead of S-C-H-O-O-L, it was spelled S-C-O-H-O-L.

Local media brought it to the city’s attention, and the city tweeted that the private contractor has now corrected its work. It’s not clear how long the mistake was there in plain sight.

Not only will the road crew in Florida get an “F″ for their spelling…but what about all the motorists that didn’t notice it or thought it was normal?  Apparently, there’s a reason why all the crazy and cracked stories come from that state.
