The Best and Worst Cities to Celebrate the Fourth of July

A recent study found the best and worst cities to celebrate the Fourth of July, based on things like whether fireworks are legal, hamburger and beer prices, and weather.  The top two are New York City and Los Angeles . . . and the bottom two are San Bernardino, California and Memphis, Tennessee.

I’d put Joliet, Illinois in one of the top spots.  You can check out the city’s 73rd annual July 4th Celebration on July 4th …right around 9:20pm at Memorial Stadium, 3000 W. Jefferson St.  And Star 96.7 will provide the synchronized soundtrack for the fireworks display. So if you go, make sure you bring us along on the radio or play us off your smart phone.
