The Galaxy by the Lake

This weekend, Chicago has been invaded by the likes of Stormtroopers, Wookies, Jedi and the Sith.  It’s the Star Wars Celebration right next to Lake Michigan at McCormick Place.

You can take pictures with Emperor Palpatine and Darth Maul or Anikin…or even Bobby Moinahan from Saturday Night Live.  I have no idea why, maybe he played a ewok when he was younger.  Who knows.

I do know that TSA this weekend is allowing you to carry on your Lightsabers.  I also saw that Darth Vader went through O’Hare and road the people mover.  I wonder if he had to pass through customs…..
