There’s Another “Scream” Movie on the Way?

Another “Scream” movie is in the works obviously without Wes Craven, who passed away in 2015.  He directed all four “Scream” movies, which were released in 1996, 1997, 2000, and 2011.

There’s also a show called “Scream”, which aired on MTV in 2015 and 2016 and then on VH1 earlier this year.  But it’s basically a reboot that doesn’t share any characters or plotlines with the movies.

It’s unclear if the next movie will be a sequel, or if it’ll be a remake and it’s too early to say whether any of the previous stars would be onboard.
