The Obamas’ portraits are not what you’d expect…

The portraits of former President Obama and First Lady Michelle were unveiled this morning at  at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery.

At first glance to any Chicagoan, it appears that Obama is in the outfield at Wrigley Field!  Jay Scott Smith, a Philadelphia broadcaster tweeted: “This is a great portrait of President Obama. The detail is stunning. I’m just amazed that the Cubs let him sit in the Wrigley Field Ivy to do this.”

Here’s Chicago rapper Common’s comment on Instagram
