Saturday, May 18

Around 300 canines will be strutting their stuff in the Bolingbrook Pet Parade at the Bolingbrook Promenade at 3pm.  It will end with a Post-Parade Pet Party and will benefit the West Suburban Humane Society.  Info? Click Here.

Aurora Water Lantern Festival is going on tonight in the Fox River at RiverEdge Park in downtown Aurora.  Twinkling lanterns on the water, music…great family and friends event.  That starts at 6pm.  Check it out here.

Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19

Turn back time as they battle it out at the Naper Settlement with their Civil War Days.  That’s from 10-4p. A great history lesson for the kids.  Battles begin at 2:30pm.  Click here for info.

Sunday, May 19

It’s more animal fun in Wheaton on Sunday with the All-Animal Expo at the Dupage County Fairgrounds from 10-3p.  Everything from puppies, kittens and birds.  If you are squeamish about reptiles, you might want to avoid a few of the exhibits.  If you are interested, click here.
