It is Daylight Saving Time this weekend.  That’s when we turn the clock back an hour, officially Sunday at 2am.  What does that mean?  What will you do with that extra hour?

CNN reports that apparently over 100 years ago, the powers that be decided that we could reduce our electricity use by extending the number of hours we have daylight. No one knows if it actually works, hey most of Indiana doesn’t bother with it, either does  Hawaii and most of Arizona.

So now, what are you gonna do?  Go to church, visit Grandma or … sleep.  You should know that sleep experts say sleep would be better for your health overall!

Dr. Phyllis Zee, the chief of sleep medicine at Chicago’s Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine says, “For most people, it’s a good idea to get an extra hour of sleep because sleep is important for memory, appetite, mood, immune and cardiovascular functions.”

That will work well for most of us this weekend, especially teenagers!
