It’s baseball season and that means peanuts and cracker jacks, ballpark hotdogs and beer, but only if you can get the games in. The most valuable player every Spring is mother nature. A couple of midwest clubs have already delayed their home openers due to the forecast.

The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago White Sox have both moved their home openers to Friday. Spring weather and field conditions aren’t just issues for the big leagues, college and high school teams across the country are moving dates feverishly as they attempt to ‘play ball.’

The Sox will take on the Mariners at Guaranteed Rate Field at 1:10 p.m. Friday.
